3. Information I Collect

When using the Application, the following information is collected:

a. Spotify Account Data:

Upon logging in using your Spotify account, the following data is retrieved through the Spotify API:

• Spotify User ID
• Playlist data (to create playlists based on artist setlists)

I do not store any of this information beyond the duration of your session.

b. Setlist Data:

The setlist data used for generating playlists comes from Setlist.fm. This data is fetched anonymously and is not linked to any identifiable personal information.

c. Analytics (via Simple Analytics):

To improve the Application and understand how it is being used, I use Simple Analytics, a privacy-friendly analytics service. Simple Analytics does not collect personal data such as IP addresses or user-identifiable information. Instead, it gathers general usage information like:

• Page views
• Referrer information
• Device type (e.g., mobile or desktop)
• Browser and operating system

This data is completely anonymous and used solely for improving the performance and user experience of the Application.

d. Session Data (First-Party Cookie):

When you log in with Spotify, a session cookie is set to manage your login status. This cookie is tied to your Spotify account and stored in a secure database. The session lasts for 1 hour, after which you will need to log in again. While session data expires after 1 hour, it is automatically deleted from the database within a few days. No third-party cookies are used.

e. Server Logs:

For security and troubleshooting purposes, basic technical information such as your IP address and browser type may be collected when you use the Application. This data is used solely for technical maintenance and is not personally identifiable.

4. How I Use Your Data

I use the collected data for the following purposes:

• Authentication: To allow you to log in using your Spotify account.
• Playlist Creation: To generate playlists based on artist setlists retrieved from Setlist.fm.
• Session Management: To maintain your logged-in status via a session cookie.

5. Data Sharing

I do not share your personal data with third parties, except in the following cases:

• Spotify API: Data is shared with Spotify to authenticate your account and manage playlists in accordance with their API terms and conditions.
• Legal Requirements: Your data may be disclosed if required by law or necessary to protect my legal rights.

6. Data Storage and Retention

Session Data: Your session data is stored in a secure database and automatically expires after 1 hour. Once the session expires, you will need to log in again. The expired session data is deleted from the database within a few days.

User Data: I do not store any other user-related data permanently. The data retrieved from Spotify is only used temporarily during your session and is not stored afterward.

Server Logs: Collected server logs are stored temporarily for technical purposes and deleted periodically.
